UCC recently completed a major underwater inspection at a North American commercial nuclear power plant, covering more than 600 feet of piping at depths approaching 160 feet. By combining experienced commercial divers with ROV technology, the team was able to inspect restricted areas, continue work during some weather-related diving delays, and reduce the amount of time divers needed to spend in the water. The integrated approach also allowed UCC to inspect additional underwater areas beyond the original scope.

The result? A more comprehensive inspection completed safely, ahead of schedule, and under budget.

The UCC executive leadership team recently came together for our annual leadership meeting to reflect on our progress, align on strategic priorities, and plan for the year ahead.

As UCC enters its next stage of growth, these conversations are more important than ever. Building on the foundation we’ve established over more than five decades, our team is focused on strengthening our commitment to safety and operational excellence, investing in our people and technology, and expanding the ways we support our customers.

Our recent strategic investment from Crescentia Capital, in partnership with Graham Capital Investments, creates new opportunities to build on that foundation and expand our capabilities while staying focused on the expertise, responsiveness, and quality our customers have trusted since 1969.

Thank you to our leadership team for their collaboration, insight, and shared commitment to moving UCC forward.

UCC is entering its next stage of growth.

We are excited to announce a strategic investment from Crescentia Capital, in partnership with Graham Capital Investments (GCI), that will give UCC new resources to expand our capabilities, invest in our people and technology, strengthen our regional presence, and pursue strategic growth opportunities.

Raymond Palumbo will continue as President & CEO alongside our experienced leadership, project teams, and commercial divers – all of whom have helped build UCC's reputation and will remain at the heart of the company.

UCC has been built by people who understand the work firsthand. Today, we have more than 225 certified commercial divers, seven regional offices and the specialized expertise to support critical infrastructure across the country and around the world. This investment gives us the opportunity to build on that foundation — expanding our capacity so we can continue serving our customers for decades to come.
