Exterior lighting update on the 1885 Harton renovation.

All new wiring and fixtures installed. Final adjustments made to balance brightness while preserving the historic aesthetic.

Clean lines. Warm tones. Even coverage.

We’re currently in the middle of a full transformation on this historic home — originally built in 1885 — and it’s turning into something truly special.

Our team completed a full electrical rewire from top to bottom, bringing this property safely into the modern era while preserving its character and history. Now we’re working hand-in-hand with an interior designer to help turn it into a luxury business space that honors its roots but feels completely elevated.

Projects like this are why we do what we do.
Old homes deserve precision. They deserve respect. They deserve to be done right.

This one is definitely one for the books — and we are grateful to be a part of it.

Lighting the way for our mission! 💡

​We often talk about the food, bedding, and medical supplies our animals need, but sometimes the most "lifesaving" gifts are the ones behind the scenes.

​A huge thank you to Goodman Electric for coming out and installing lights and outlets in two of our tool and supply sheds! Because of their love for our mission, they provided these services at a deep discount. This allows us to stretch our budget even further, keeping our funds focused exactly where they belong: on the animals.

​Why this matters:

​Safety: It ensures a safe, bright environment for our staff and volunteers to access supplies during late-evening transports.

​Efficiency: Our maintenance and building committee can finally keep their tools charged and ready to go for the endless "to-do" list around the shelter!
