Celebrating Hard Work, Safety & Our C-HAWKK Team! 🚧

As we recognize Labor Day, C-HAWKK is proud to celebrate the hardworking men and women who get up every day and help build, maintain, and improve the roads that keep our communities and our country moving.

For our crews, that work often happens just a few feet from live traffic. As you travel this Labor Day and throughout September, please remember: slow down, stay alert, put the phone down, and give roadway workers the space they need to do their jobs safely. Every person working behind those cones has a family waiting for them to come home.

September also gives us a couple of special reasons to celebrate! πŸŽ‰

πŸŽ‚ Happy Birthday to Hannah Shelton β€” September 24!

⭐ Congratulations to Tim Culter, celebrating his work anniversary on September 16 and 6 years with C-HAWKK!

Hannah and Tim, thank you for your dedication, hard work, and everything you contribute to our team. We appreciate you!

This Labor Day, we especially want to say THANK YOU to our entire C-HAWKK team. Your commitment to safety, quality, service, and getting the job done is what keeps us moving forward.

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ Happy Labor Day from C-HAWKK Construction! πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ FROM WASHINGTON TO THE ROADWAY β€” TALKING HIGHWAY SAFETY WITH SENATOR ROGER MARSHALL

C-HAWKK Construction was honored to welcome U.S. Senator Roger Marshall to our facility in Eudora, Kansas.

We’ve had opportunities to talk with Senator Marshall and his staff about transportation policy and the importance of continued investment in roadway safety. This visit gave us the opportunity to show him what those investments look like when they reach the people doing the work.

And Senator Marshall didn’t just come for a tour.

He put on a safety vest, climbed onto one of our paint trucks, met our team, and helped us stripe a Kansas roadway.

That meant a lot to us.

For a company that has spent more than 35 years working to make our highways safer, there is something powerful about having one of our U.S. Senators stand alongside the men and women who perform this work every day and experience firsthand what it takes to put safety improvements on our roads.

We had a great conversation about the future of federal transportation funding, the Highway Trust Fund, the Highway Safety Improvement Program (HSIP), work-zone safety, and the need for long-term investment in America’s transportation infrastructure.

But at C-HAWKK, these conversations ultimately come back to one thing:

Transportation funding is measured in dollars.
Highway safety is measured in lives.

Every stripe we install, every sign we set, every rumble strip we cut and every work zone we make safer represents another opportunity to prevent a crash and help someone make it home safely.

Senator Marshall, thank you for taking the time to visit C-HAWKK, listen to our employees, learn more about our industry, and especially for being willing to climb aboard the paint truck and experience the work for yourself.

We appreciate leaders who are willing to get out in the field, listen to the people doing the work and see firsthand how transportation policy becomes safer roads for Kansas families.

Thank you, Senator Marshall, for spending the day with the C-HAWKK team. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Safer Roads. Safer Work Zones. Saving Lives.

🚧 Safety is more than a priority at C-Hawkk. It's our responsibility.

That's why we've invested in the HAAS Alert Safety Cloud system across our fleet.

When our crews are working in live traffic lanes, Safety Cloud helps notify approaching motorists through connected navigation apps and in-vehicle systems, providing advance warning that workers are ahead. This gives drivers more time to slow down, move over, and safely navigate around active work zones.

In July alone, our fleet helped deliver over 37,000 driver alerts, increasing awareness and helping create a safer environment for both our crews and the traveling public.

Every alert represents another opportunity to prevent an incident and help everyone get home safely.

πŸ“šπŸšŒ Back to School Means Back to Safety! πŸšŒπŸ“š

As classrooms fill back up, our roads become busier with school buses, student drivers, crossing guards, bicyclists, and children walking to and from school.

At C-HAWKK Construction, roadway safety is more than our businessβ€”it's our commitment to the communities we serve. We encourage everyone to slow down, stay alert, and give yourself a little extra time during the morning and afternoon commute. Together, we can help make this school year a safe one for everyone.

While we're celebrating safety, we're also celebrating some incredible members of the C-HAWKK family!

πŸŽ‰ Happy Birthday!
