This new home shows green exterior sheathing wrapped around window openings and a pitched roof stage with underlayment being installed. Three crew members are securing the roof layer while the front supports outline the covered entry. It’s early progress, but these shapes start to define how natural light and sheltered space will come together. Here’s a look at a completed kitchen project where a stone countertop meets a neutral tile backsplash. The counter stretches between a range and the sink below a built-in microwave, flanked by dark wood cabinets. Under-cabinet lighting highlights the backsplash pattern and work surface, adding depth to the design. This layout provides a unified work zone while keeping essentials within reach. What kitchen addition would make this space even more functional for you?

Today we’re sharing a project update: a three-bay covered structure in progress, complete with exposed timber posts, a sloped roof, and industrial pendant lights in each bay. The front has a fresh spread of aggregate for a stable base, while the left compartment features built-in shelving for tools or firewood. On the right, two barrels stand ready for rainwater collection or landscape use. These bays carve out practical storage zones that keep your backyard organized. What would you store here on a daily basis? Feel free to share your ideas below.

We’re in the midst of building a flagstone patio with an integrated fire pit. In this shot you can see our dry layout stage, where the irregular stones are placed on a compacted sand and gravel base. We’ve arranged each piece to follow a smooth circle around the fire pit center and maintained consistent joint spaces for the mortar. This stage lets us verify alignment and fit before the final set. The sand-and-gravel base is more than level filler—it offers drainage and a stable bedding layer that keeps stones from shifting over seasons. Once these stones are mortared in, you’ll have a durable, low-maintenance outdoor gathering spot. Interested in adding a custom fire pit to your backyard? Let us know!

Today’s progress shot shows our team installing a natural flagstone patio and integrated stone fire pit. We’ve laid each irregular flagstone over a compacted gravel sub-base, ensuring even thickness and consistent ½″–¾″ joints. That gravel layer not only levels the stones but also promotes proper water drainage, protecting the patio from settling or frost heave. The fire pit ring is constructed from matching stones set on a compacted gravel pad to provide a stable surface for high-heat use. Once the joints are filled with polymeric sand and sealed, this patio will offer years of low-maintenance enjoyment and durability. It’s a great example of how attention to base preparation and joint spacing delivers long-term performance and a seamless, natural look. Ready to plan your dream outdoor space?.
