Earlier this spring, the 2FORM team had the opportunity to tour the forests and mill at Zena Forest Products , learning more about their regenerative forestry practices and the craftsmanship behind their work.

Experiencing the process firsthand, from forest stewardship to milling to finished material, gave us a deeper appreciation for the level of care and long-term thinking behind every board produced.

As designers, we value understanding where materials come from, how they’re made, and how they perform over time. Visits like this continue to inform the way we approach our work and the materials we choose to bring into the spaces we design.

Step inside the Woodson Addition, a luminous, artful loft that softens the boundary between indoors and out.

In 2015, 2FORM partnered with a growing Eugene family to reimagine their home’s footprint, crafting a 1,000-square-foot expansion designed to evolve alongside them. The new space included a living room, pool room, guest bedroom and loft accommodates everything from imaginative play to effortless entertaining and overnight stays. Thoughtful built-ins, including a full bath, compact kitchenette, and vertical bike storage make this addition fine-tuned for family family.

This beautiful spring weather has been such a treat. It brings to mind Saffron Fields, a project we completed back in 2013. It’s the perfect setting to unwind on a clear, warm day like today.

Originally a dairy farm, this site had a large pole-barn structure which has been deconstructed to provide building materials for the tasting room pictured here.
