This little area behind the chimney needed the water to move better, so he adjusted it, tested it again, and made sure it drained the way it should.

Part of a good roof plan is a plan for moss.

In Oregon, moss and algae are not rare. They are part of what your roof has to deal with year after year.

That copper strip along the ridge is Copper Cat. When rain hits it, small amounts of copper wash down across the shingles and help prevent moss and algae from growing.

It will patina over time, but it keeps doing its job.

Most homeowners notice the roof.

But the fascia matters too.

That white board is new cedar fascia. It is the trim board that runs along the roofline, and when it starts to rot, it can affect the look of the home and the protection around the edge of the roof.

On this job, the old fascia had made it about 60 years. It was time.

So the Buzzline crew replaced it with clean new cedar, tightened up the corners, added new plywood where needed, and left it ready for paint.
