Hand-Made Nordic Gold Flooring Mallet.

Pretty sure this project took about 3 days of working on it to achieve.. 😴😴😴

I made the handleout of Hickory and put 3 coats of flooring finish on it for protection. The hammer head was cast in my backyard foundry, by combining Copper, Zinc, Aluminum, and Tin into an alloy known as Nordic Gold. The alloy was first cast into ingots to ensure the metal was clean and of a more manageable quantity. Then it was sand casted using a 3D print from Ricky over at Fringe Prints. Overall I think it came out pretty darn spiffy, if I do say so.

Anyway, just wanted to share.
