We partnered with Laurel Hill Center, a multi-service nonprofit that offers resources for mental health recovery, affordable housing, and employment pathways, to install a 25kW PV system. Based in the City of Eugene, the Laurel Hill Center has been remodeling the former Midgley’s Building on W 7th and wanted to add solar to their renovations. This project was made possible in part by the EWEB solar business incentive that covered a considerable portion of the cost. The EWEB solar incentive is directly funded by voluntary donations of EWEB users to their Greenpower Program. EWEB Customers who wish to contribute to solar accessibility for residential homes and non-profit businesses can participate by donating as little as $1.50 per month.

At Energy Design, we were excited to work with a nonprofit that contributes important resources to the local community. LHC’s community wellness work aligns with our mission to deliver affordable, clean, and distributed energy at residential and commercial scales.

A residential 6.36 kW PV and 40.96 kWh ESS addition. Slides 1 and 2 show the new modules, and slide 3 shows the existing install. This was for a previous client of ours and he wanted to expand his system and upgrade his batteries. Working with our Designer we were able to use his previous plans and configure his upgrade. Here, we used commercial panels since they had a larger watt size and aesthetically matched his previous install. The battery pictures feature Pytes V5 batteries and 15kW Sol-Ark Inverter. This client lives in an area that is prone to longer power outages and wanted a bigger system.

This is a 14.62kW PV system on a new construction home with Silfab SIL-430QD modules. A slightly larger than average residential installation (those tend to be 8kW-10kW). We also paired this with a Sol-Ark 15.0 kW Hybrid inverter and
Pytes Batteries (Batteries not pictured).

Check out this beautiful and large 24.84 KW system we finished near the end of 2025! This is a system designed to weather significant outages, coming out with a 19.32 kW ground mount, a 5.52kW roof array, and paired to a 30.72 kWh ESS backup system. This system is rurally located, where they are more likely to experience prolonged blackouts when weather turns harsh. Materials includes: Silfab modules, Sol-ark inverter, and Pytes Lithium Ion batteries.

Check out our latest solar installation for the Kalapuya High School in the Bethel school district! We installed systems for two buildings: one on the CTE building, a new space designed for trade studies (pictured in the first and third slides). And, another one that lives on the main high school building (last slide, white building farther away).

The CTE system is 28.56 kW, and the Kalapuya high school building holds 12.6kW.

We received important project funding from the EWEB commercial solar incentive. Thanks to those that contribute to that fund. We are also grateful for the support of the Bethel school district to make this project happen.
