Now Hiring Full Time Traveling Commercial Painters and Finishers

*Must travel a minimum of 2-3 weeks at a time away from home within the state of Texas

Commercial Painter Responsibilities:
• Knowledge of painting equipment and techniques.
• Experience using brushes, rollers, and spray rigs.
• Selecting the correct tools and paints for projects.
• Preparing walls and other surfaces before painting
• Mixing and applying paints, varnishes, stain, enamel and sealants for a lasting finish.
• Covering exposed objects and surface
• Using fillers such as putty and plaster to repair cracks, caulking
• Obeying workplace safety rules.
• Keeping the workspace and tools clean.
Commercial Finisher Responsibilities:
• Tape and bed experience
• Knowledge of different levels of mud finishes 1-5
• Experience using pans, knives, and texture equipment
• Knowledge of automatic taping tools like Bazooka and boxes
• Basic knowledge of type of job and level of finish required
• Ability to clearly communicate with coworkers, other trades, and clients
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, squat, and reach frequently
• Must have reliable transportation
Job Requirements:
• Experience painting commercial spaces.
• Knowledge of all the applicable health and safety standards.
• Good planning and organization skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Solid communication skills.
• Good balance and physical strength to work on scaffolds, ladders, stilts & etc.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, squat, and reach frequently.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Drywall Installer Responsibilities:
• Joining drywall panels using tape and plaster.
• Installation of drywall repair & acoustical systems
• Install doors, framing & basic hardware
• Repairing cracks and any other damage to the drywall panels.
• Sanding down rough areas on the wall to create a smooth surface.
• Managing and maintaining all the required equipment for the job.
• Ensuring that all equipment and materials are used safely and effectively

Drywall Installer Requirements:
• At least 3 years of experience as a drywall finisher.
• Good knowledge of the tools, materials, and methods used in drywall and ceiling finishing.
• Manual dexterity with excellent balance to work on scaffolds, ladders, aerial platforms, etc.
• Owns all necessary hand/power tools required for commercial drywall
• Dependability - show up to work on time and work efficiently
• Lift, carry up to 95 pounds frequently
• Walk, stand, sit, bend, squat, and reach frequently
• Owns reliable transportation and cell phone
• Good problem-solving abilities

Job Responsibilities

· Estimate commercial paint jobs of varying sizes

· Cultivate relationships with clients



Skills and Knowledge Required:



· 1 year or more experience in commercial construction estimating preferred

· Minimum of 2 years of consistent blueprint reading required

· Able to review and accurately perform takeoffs (Includes: material, labor, equipment)

· Perform onsite walk thru for upcoming bids

· Compile and articulate scope in written proposals to customers

· Proficient in Excel, Word, Email, Google Calendar, and Google Apps

· Reliable team player capable of working effectively with the team

· Strong organizational skills

· Able to work under pressure to meet hard bid deadlines
