Hilfiker Retaining Walls The Hilfiker Pipe Company was founded in Eureka, California (1902), by John Hilfiker, and now is own Harold O. In 1968, Harold O. Hilfiker. Our other M.S.E.

The company started out fabricating concrete well casings and burial vaults with hand-made tools. began the manufacture and installation of precast concrete cribwalls in 1947, and received the first Hilfiker Retaining Wall patent in 1949 for the Concrib wall, which is still produced in the Eureka, CA facility. sold the company to his son William K. Bill continued the time-honored tradition of precast manufacture, but he also realized there were more economical solutions for retaining wall issues. Hilfiker Retaining Walls designed and patented the Welded Wire Wall in the early 1970's and has since supplied over 15,000 projects throughout the United States, Alaska, Canada, Hawaii, Africa, Ghana, Indonesia, Mongolia, Siberia and South America. wall systems were a natural evolution of the Welded Wire Wall. Whether your project could benefit from the use of our Welded Wire Wall, SpiralNail, Reinforced Soil Embankment Panel, Steepened Slope, Eureka Reinforced Soil, Gabion-Faced M.S.E., or ArtWeld Gabions, we will provide the level of support you request: specifications, drafting, full (P.E.) design, materials take-off, materials bidding, contractor/previous project referrals, direct shipment to jobsite and qualified technical assistance to begin wall construction.
