There are more seedlings available this week at the farm. Tomorrow sunday we will be open 11 a.m to 3 p.m . Every week the seedlings will increase as we are in full on planting mode.

I've been doing chickens my entire adult life and there's always something new to learn.

Its planting time. Soo many plants have to be planted in such a small of time. This is the most nerve wracking time of year. Its soo hot so we have to run water nonstop as well as being under threat of hurricanes this time of year. You really are operating on faith all the time. Nature always wins

Someone asked how many plants we start per season 🤣 I have no clue but it's a lot.
We transplant about 90% of all of our crops. This helps with w**d control and pest management for us. We also try to buy used trays and not create more plastic waste. While it's quite a bit of extra work, transplants make everything better for us, the plants, and you once we harvest. This is one of the many tools in our toolkit to avoid using pesticides and chemicals.

Who would be interested in bulk chicken feeders? We are building some this week and can build extras this week. Have 2 ft, 4ft, 8ft long. These help with cutting your feeding time as they hold quite a bit of feed. If you are wanting to raise your own meat chickens these work great. This is the design we use for all of our chickens.
