Here are some before and after photos of a completed shrub and mulch bed renovation. 2 stumps were ground, 3 holly shrubs were removed, 6 boxwood shrubs were removed, 3 tea olive shrubs were removed, 4 yards of mulch was removed, along with all of the old w**d barrier that was no longer stopping w**ds from coming through the mulch as well as a ton of w**ds. We installed 1 endless summer hydrangea, 5 little lime limelight hydrangeas, 7 autumn twist encore azaleas, and 2 ruby loropetalums to accent each side of the garage door as well as 4 yards of fresh black mulch. We also installed downspout extensions to keep storm water from washing the new mulch out of the beds. The client has opted to have sod installed in April where 2 bowoods were removed and a holy stump was ground. This property has come a long way from where it was 3 years ago when we took it over. Can't wait til spring and summer to see the difference when all of the plants and new shrubs start blooming against a new black back drop.
