Only two more days and Paxton Zielinski gets a kidney transplant! The following is a little back-story on this post.

We have known Paxton for quite some time through Hobby Stock racing, then he began dating our youngest daughter, Baylie, and they were married last year in September. Prior to working for us, as a heavy haul driver, he worked for Casper Tin Shop, LLC, but having to dialysis four times a week in the middle of the day, was tough for Casper Tin and Paxton. So he tried a different strategy and was able to get in-home dialysis set-up and that's when he worked for Brutill Construction, Inc. for awhile. He's since gone back to work for Casper Tin full time to do what he likes most...HVAC!

Baylie and Paxton had been seeing each for quite a few years when he was diagnosed with IgA Nephropathy, a kidney disease, which eventually led to kidney failure. Paxton's mother Connie, donated one of her kidney's to Paxton a few years ago, but unfortunately the disease attacked that kidney and he was put back on dialysis, while he waits for another donor.

Recently, his niece, Brooke, made the selfless decision, just as Connie did, to donate one of her kidneys. This type of donation is a give one, get one kind of program. So, on Valentine's Day, 02/14/2024, Paxton will receive a kidney from a complete stranger and the kidney Brooke donates, will go to someone she doesn't know. The families are headed to UC Health in Denver tomorrow.

We would like to give special thanks to Paxton's sister Jamie, who has selflessly provided in-home dialysis care, coming 3-4 times a week to Paxton and Baylie's house, after working a full-time job as a nurse herself; Paxton's niece Brooke for also providing in-home dialysis nursing care and ESPECIALLY donating a kidney to someone you don't know, so Paxton and that person has a shot at life. Paxton's other niece Raquel, for always being there for Paxton. Connie for her undying love for Paxton and Baylie and all that you do for them and their dog, Zeke! To Paxton's family for their unwavering support for all involved. Baylie, we thank you for loving and caring for Paxton no matter what!

We are reaching out to our community to ask for all the prayers and good wishes you can possibly give to Paxton for a long and successful kidney transplant, so that he and Baylie have a shot at living their best life together!
