Miscellaneous Roof Problems

There are a variety of miscellaneous roof problems that we see from time to time. Satellite sway can cause damage to the roof around the mounts, tree branches touching and brushing against your roof can cause roof problems, even the wind blowing against your ridge vent can damage your roof.

Buckling
Buckling is when your shingles are raised and look like something is underneath causing them to push up. This is a symptom of poor roof ventilation. Usually this is caused when the attic below is too hot and cooks the shingle.
