PLEASE HELP! Between the COVID 19 pandemic and just starting to come out of the “winter/slower season” in our industry, finances can be stretched thin... but if you were making it and going to be okay financially, imagine losing EVERYTHING in a fire that burned your home to ashes. That’s where our Brother Andy Norrell is right now. Please read the flyer attached and give from the heart. You can’t afford to give??? If everyone in our local just gave $5-$10 because that is all they can afford, it would make a tremendous impact on a brother’s life. And when we all come together to help each other out, we grow closer and stronger as a Union family. And any one of us could be the next to need our Brothers and Sisters in a time of crisis.

Any Indiana resident age 50 and older is now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine!

Appointments can be scheduled online at ourshot.in.gov on your computer or smartphone (use Chrome or Firefox as your browser). You’ll find nearly 400 vaccination locations around the state.

We are looking for volunteers to help with the new Easterseals Fantasy of Lights warehouse at IUPAT Local 156. Posts are set and purlins are going on today. Looking for help this Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday beginning at 8:00 am. (or anytime after). Just show up at the 156 union hall ready to work and someone will be happy to direct you.

The loss of a member is always saddening. Francis began his apprenticeship in 1951 and next year would have been his 70th anniversary with local 156. I’ve never had the privilege of handing out a service pin for 70 years of membership, I doubt there are many who have.
“Go rest high upon that mountain”, you’ve surely earned it. Godspeed Francis and prayers of peace for all of the family and friends who are missing his presence.
