As irrigation season winds down, it’s time to shut off and blow out your sprinkler systems. Freezing temperatures are just around the corner, and winterizing your system now can help prevent costly damage.🌨️🌨️🌨️

Just a reminder: Homeowners are responsible for their own irrigation lines, so take action early to avoid any unexpected repairs this winter.

We would like to formally announce that we will be holding another art contest for the students in the Evergreen community. Hi Evergreen! 😄💧
We want to take a moment to thank our community for your continued efforts to reduce water use this year! Together, our customers have reduced their water use by 35% compared to this time last year. That’s something worth celebrating!

We’ve heard some great water-saving ideas from customers who have called or reached out to us, and we wanted to share a few of them:
💧 Placing a bucket under the faucet while waiting for the water to heat up
🌱 Using leftover water from a pet’s bowl to water plants
🪥 Turning off the sink while brushing your teeth
🚿 Taking shorter showers
🌿 Cutting back on irrigation times

These small changes can add up, and it’s great to see our community finding creative ways to conserve water.

📢 Special Election Information 📢
A special election will be held October 6, 2026, regarding the proposed consolidation of Evergreen Metropolitan District (EMD) and Kittredge Sanitation and Water District (KSWD). Election information, including details about the proposed consolidation and voting process, is now available on the District’s website.

Important dates:
- UOCAVA ballots have been sent to eligible uniformed service members and overseas citizens.
- September 9: Ballots will be mailed to eligible permanent absentee voters and voters who have requested an absentee ballot.
- October 6: Election Day.

We encourage eligible voters to review the available information before the election.
