Tiger Construction is proud to support organizations that are creating real impact in our community.

This year’s Sunset Serenade benefiting the YWCA Bellingham was an incredible success, raising over $100,000 to support women and children through family shelter, senior shelter, and permanent housing programs.

We were honored to help sponsor the evening and be part of an event centered around one powerful theme: community. At Tiger, we believe building strong communities goes far beyond construction projects—it’s about supporting the people and organizations working every day to create stability, safety, and opportunity for others.

Thank you to the YWCA team, organizers, volunteers, and everyone who contributed to such a meaningful evening. We’re grateful to play a small role in helping make a difference.

🚧 Construction Update on Crescent Harbor Elementary School 🚧

Our team continues to make steady progress, and we’re excited to share another update!

We’re starting to see the school’s active spaces come together, thanks to continued collaboration with incredible partners:

🛝 Playground by – A dedicated space for students to play, move, and have fun is beginning to take shape.
🏀 Athletic equipment by ADP Lemco, Inc. – Installation is underway, helping bring activity-focused spaces like the gym and play areas to life.
🧱 Operable partitions by Barcley Dean – These flexible systems will allow spaces like the gym and multipurpose areas to adapt for different uses throughout the day.

🌟 Women in Construction Highlight: Jenna Tiemersma 🌟

Meet Jenna, our outstanding Project Engineer at Tiger Construction!

Jenna officially joined our team full-time in June 2024 after graduating from the University of Washington (Go Huskies!) with a B.A. in Architectural Design.

Her industry knowledge runs deep, and her dedication to quality craftsmanship has made a huge impact on our community, having recently been part of builds for both Crescent Harbor Elementary School & Fort Casey Signage and Accessibility Improvements.

After 15 years of dedication as a Superintendent at Tiger Construction, Rob Robison is officially stepping into a new chapter ......retirement!

Rob has been a steady leader in the field, known for his craftsmanship, calm presence, and commitment to getting the job done right. His impact on our projects and our team has been lasting, and we’re incredibly grateful for the years he’s given to Tiger.

While Rob may be retiring from Tiger, he’s not slowing down just yet. He’s currently putting his skills to work building an addition at their place in Palm Springs - because once a builder, always a builder.

Rob, thank you for 15 great years. We wish you and Annette sunshine, well-earned relaxation, and just enough projects to keep things interesting. 🌴🔨
