I just finished a project that is very personal. This little cabinet has been with me for a long time. My Mother originally purchased this, along with another one very much like it and a 5 drawer dresser for my sister when I was about 8 or 9. When Sis moved out they became mine. I will turn 70 in August. These pieces were antiques when Mom bought them. I would estimate their current age to be around 100+. As you can see from the starting point this piece had some issues. But I think it turned out well. It will now resume its place beside my bed and I will be refreshing the other two pieces.
