Wyoming Area Builders Club

Wyoming Area Builders Club Wyoming Area Builders Club updates and events. Wyoming Area Builders Club is a community service oriented club for students in seventh and eighth grades.

We participate in various activities throughout the year in conjunction with the Wyoming Area Kiwanis and Wyoming Area Key Club. These activities which benefit the community include food drives for local food pantries, pet supply drives for local shelters, "Breakfast with Santa," road and park clean ups, Trunk or Treats, the Salvation Army Angel Tree, and more. Club advisor is Mrs. Christine Rutledge.

CHOCOLATE!! Each time the club meets, the members are always requesting we sell chocolate, so beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 7, members can voluntarily take a variety box of 48 Gertrude Hawk candy bars! Each bar is $2.

Also, the Pittston Popcorn and Fudge fund-raiser will be available for pick up at school on Wednesday, Feb 8.

The club is currently selling chances on the Guess How Many Kisses? at lunch until Tuesday, Feb. 14. Two chances for a dollar, and the winner receives all of the Hershey's kisses in the container and a Dunkin gift card!

Members are needed to help the Intermediate Center's PTO at Movie Night on Sunday, October 9 at 3:30 PM at the Secondary Center. Sign up on the Builders Club door next to Room 203.

The club gave lollipops today to all seventh and eighth grade teachers. They distributed these lollipops to students who acted kindly because today was Random Acts of Kindness Day!

The club is getting ready for National Wear Red Day on Friday, Feb. 4. Signs were made today, and decorating will begin on Monday. We are hoping to sell heart grams for Valentine's Day with profits benefitting the American Heart Association.
