RIICA is holding a Brake Certification class

Time: 4:30 pm
Location: The Rocky Hill Grange - 1340 South County Trail, East Greenwich, RI

Luke Duganiero from Marathon Brake & Maintenance will be offering training at no cost to members. At the end of the class each person will be issued a certificate. RIICA is offering the class to members and non-members.

RIICA Members: No fee

Non Members: $65.00 due at the time of the class

Guest speaker Sam Hawkins from RIDOT along with a representative from the State Police. Sam will be giving a presentation on truck axle weights and bridge restrictions, followed by a question and answer segment. Light refreshments will be served.

Monday night, we joined the North Kingstown Rotary Club to present donations raised from the 2024 Touch-A-Truck event we held in Quonset on May 19th. Thank you to everyone who helped make it all possible!

Great turnout last night at the Load Securement Class! thank you Dave Medeiros, North Kingstown Police Department and Rhode Island State Police. Thank you Billy Hamilton and Ian Barrera for operating the grille and to Rhode Island Towing, Iron Haulers Trucking and Montgomery engineering for bringing examples of tie-down situations, as well as everyone involved. A very special thanks goes to Ocean State Oil for hosting us and more specifically, Joe Fish, for helping out the entire time and going the extra mile.

Great turnout last night at the General Membership Meeting at the Rocky Hill Grange. Dave Medeiros developed an informative discussion and did a fantastic job answering numerous questions from members.
Thank you to Rhode Island Towing and Bryce Briggs for cooking all the hamburgers and hotdogs, especially for staying after to help cleanup. You are very much appreciated!
