A standard concrete pour starts with an open site.

House jacking starts with an existing building that has to be carefully lifted and supported before any work can begin underneath.

Everything happens in a confined space with the structure still overhead which makes every part of the job different from a typical pour. But when it's finished, the building has a new foundation without losing the structure above it.

A winter throwback. ❄️

We were called out to this sewer main break after an underground rubber Fernco fitting allowed the pipe to settle and fail.

Before we could get to the line, we had to thaw the frozen ground using our ground heater. It's a piece of equipment that comes in handy every winter and helps us keep jobs moving when the temperatures drop.

At first glance, this just looks like a typical concrete floor pour.
But what you’re actually seeing is a watertight, insulated crawl space being built under an existing church in Sandgate, VT.

The building was carefully lifted off its original foundation so the area below could be fully excavated and rebuilt.

Our crew completed the walls and floor, creating a dry space that will help protect the structure for years to come.

We recently completed the heating portion of this garage project, installing a 5-zone system with 2 radiant floor zones and 2 Modine heaters. We'll be back next month to complete the project with a snow melt system.
