Hannah’s Excavating & Construction is currently taking applications for a Concrete Crew Lead.

We’re looking for a well-rounded leader who’s willing to teach, lead, and help in all aspects of the job. This position is hands-on and requires someone who can think ahead, solve problems in the field, read detailed plans, communicate with crews and customers professionally, and show up ready to work every day.

* Ability to read and understand plans
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Problem-solving mindset
* Dependable and on time
* Valid driver’s license
* Ability to manage crews and keep projects moving efficiently

We just completed a house slab with a fully integrated underground storm shelter built directly beneath the home.

This shelter features:
• Approx. 12’ x 15’ reinforced concrete safe room
• 4’ wide staircase access
• Flush-mount locking steel door
• Suspended concrete ceiling/floor system above

No full basement.
No exterior shelter.
Just a true underground hardened shelter built directly into the home.

Most people only notice the finished concrete. But the true quality of the work lies in what you’ll never see.

Proper subgrade prep, compaction, v***r barrier installation, reinforcement placement, elevation control, and ensuring the steel is actually supported on chairs instead of laying in the dirt – that’s what determines whether a slab lasts 30 years or starts failing in three. We get excited about every phase of the project, but the prep is our all-time favorite part.
