When you join us, you’re not just booking a tour—you’re meeting a guide and their dogs, raised and loved for life. We’re proud dog parents who get paid to share our world (and yes… we’ll be talking about our “kids” the whole ride) as we glide through our backyard wilderness.

Blue skies, a sun dog glowing in the sky, and a team of happy huskies leading the way. ❄️🐾

Days like this remind us why we do what we do. Gliding down a quiet creek along the historic Yukon Quest trail, spruce trees heavy with snow, a frozen lake stretching out beside us, and nothing but the sound of paws on the trail.

March in Alaska is pure magic. ✨

Come ride along with the dogs and see the wilderness the way it was meant to be seen.

Wolves get a bad reputation, but the truth is they want nothing to do with us. Most of the time the only sign they were here… is their tracks. 🐺❄️

We aren’t the only ones who like a nice hard packed trail, we share the wilderness with the true locals…WOLVES! We rarely ever lay eyes on them because they’re incredibly elusive, but when we do it’s such a treat!

We haven’t seen much wolf activity this season, but over the last couple of days they’ve been letting us know they’re around… leaving fresh tracks behind as they linger in the area sniffing out the 🫎

Why do wolves walk in a single file?
Energy conservation: The lead wolf breaks trail in deep snow and the others step directly in those tracks to save energy.
Pack travel: Wolves often travel long distances this way while hunting or patrolling territory.
Efficiency: It creates the illusion of one animal, even when several wolves passed.

Just another day mushing in the Last Frontier!
