Good afternoon, I hope you everyone had a great thanksgiving. I wanted to update all snow removal and leaf cleanup customers regarding the potential snow event arriving tomorrow (Saturday) and into Sunday.
Snow Removal:
All regular snow-removal customers are already on schedule ahead of Saturday’s event. As always, snowfall brings many variables, but I will continue to operate as I have in years past and make the best judgment call based on conditions. With this system bringing slightly above freezing temperatures during the day and refreezing at night, I will keep everyone updated. The biggest factor that determines when I come out will be how much snow falls and how quickly it accumulates and the temps to follow. Less snow with the daily temps will most likely equal no clearing and letting it melt naturally. More snow accumulation equals higher chance of clearing even if temps or slightly above freezing. As it won’t melt fully and creat ice conditions and cause more problems.
Leaf Cleanups:
I will still complete all leaf cleanups before the scheduled city pickups, including jobs that require mulching or bagging. This early snowstorm may cause a slight delay, but I expect to resume leaf cleanups by early next week. Everything will still get done, it may just require different methods due to the weather no price change in regards to added difficulty. Just is what it is this time of year and weather has been very poor.
