Customer wanted a way to dump 55 gallon barrels using his wheel loader. the problem is that most wheel loaders and tractor loaders do not have near enough negative tilt to accomplish this, especially at dumpster height. Had to use some physics to help the process along.

2 cylinder JD model B gas tank. This guy has all the luck, if this were mine it would look like this on the bottom side. Looks like it sat outside on a hill for the last 20 years. Tank was made from some incredibly thin sheet metal.

Woods 3 point grader/leveler hit a post (says right in the owners manual don't hit a post) oh well. Leading blade was bent back 2 inches and down an 1 1/2 not much of a leveler at this point. Would work for waterways though. Had to cut out the bent blade stringer straighten and reinforce and weld back in. Had to make sure the two blades lined up with each other perfectly.

Built this loader bucket safety cage about 12 years ago. Looks like it finally met its match. Front edge of loader got a little whopperjawed to boot. Nothing salvageable of the cage so a shiny new one was made. Straightened the front edge of loader so now its ready for round two.

Customer called last night and said they are pouring his floor on Wednesday and he needed a floor drain made. Had to fab this with what I had on hand. Removable center grate is mild steel and the the outer ring assembly is stainless steel. This worked out perfect as the part that gets permanently cemented into the floor is stainless steel. The mild steel center grate can be remade if and when it rusts out.

Customer bought a generic one size fits all rigid thumb for his JD back hoe. Had to modify it some. Also had to plate the lower arm as it was never designed for the stress that a rigid thumb produces.

Customer collects open wheel race cars. This is a homemade job fashioned from a Crosley car in the 50s. This machine was missing the driver roll bar and the front push bar. The fiberglass lower front radiator scoop was cracked so a lower bar was added which was not original. This thing is tiny and definitely designed for kids.

This Roof Palomino lawn mower has quite a back story. Originally purchased from the Roof auction as a engineless rolling chassis. This machine has never run until the current owner rescued it from a farmers scrap pile about 8 years ago. ( I actually looked at it back then and passed, not enough there too mess with). This poor girl has been to at least 6-8 shops with very little progress. I actually formed the floor pans while it was at another shop about a year ago. Well that shop closed up and it went to another shop who promptly sent it to me (and ran away, lol). I made the decision to scrap almost everything everyone else did and start from scratch. Now it is off to the upholstery shop for a bimini top and tonneau cover. Then over to Leman paintworks for the eye candy. This was a fun project as I kinda dig this stuff.
