orDer architecture Architectural Services orDer architecture is a full service architectural practice established in 2001.

We provide design, interior, and construction management service for a range of projects, varying in complexity and size for both residential and commercial clients.

All people, whether or not formally trained in design, possess a collective memory of favo

rite places, towns, buildings, or spaces that have touched us more than others. We may not be able to point out the exact details of why, but we can understand this to be true. In our practice we look to provide each client with this ‘realness of architecture’. We believe in creating spaces and places that are to become a tangible part of your own reality. We accept that the parameters for creating and defining these qualities are inherently different for every individual, family, and/or business. We strive to uncover those elements that will set your project apart, making it simultaneously personal and full of meaning.

Complete for some time now, here are some images of a modern arts and crafts renovation I had the pleasure of designing here in Fairfield, CT. This project is an example of how through the process the rules become obvious, one simply needs to open the space and follow the language. Many thanks to a gracious owner, wonderful construction team, and an elegantly executed interior design.

Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU’s) are still relatively new to Fairfield. For many this is a wonderful option to create a legal apartment on your own property. It is a beneficial option for aging parents, grown children returning home, or as a rental income.
Looking forward to getting this one approved and built in 2025.
