Sometimes you just have to get creative when doing patches. In this case the repaired pipe stuck out a little further past the drywall, which resulted in the new drywall patch not being flush with the existing drywall. The solution- carve out the back of the Sheetrock

Quick little bathroom renovation. Walls were damaged and had terrible tile board on the wall. Ripped it all out. Drywalled an spackled the 2nd day. This morning we sanded and primed the walls to get ready for final color and ceiling paint
