LAL Construction Co., Inc. of Fall River Ma is seeking experienced laborers with skills in roadwork, curbing, cement, and concrete work.
LAL was established in 1977 and we pride ourselves in working locally as well as having a workforce that remains loyal. We have had several employees retire recently with over 25 years of service with our company. If you are an experienced laborer and are looking to grow with a strong company we want to speak with you.
Experience:
1) Minimum 3+ years required in the following fields
(a) Concrete
(b) Curb
(c) Asphalt
(d) Drainage
Responsibilities:
• Perform tasks involving physical labor, in all types of weather (heat, cold, rain) at commercial, civil, industrial, or residential projects.
• Operate hand and power tools including but not limited to saws, compactors, jackhammers, compressors, rollers, and other tools as assigned.
• Excavate and prepare sites, dig trenches, set forms or braces, clean up rubble and debris.
• Maintain clean job sites.
• Load and unload construction materials
• Able to lift up to 70+ pounds
• Assist craft workers as needed.
• Clean and maintain tools, trucks, and equipment.
• Follow instruction from supervisors.
Qualifications:
• Be reliable and a hard worker
• Ability to work in all types of weather like heat, cold, and rain.
• Ability to do physical labor, strenuous tasks, and lift heavy objects.
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license
