Progress on this industrial cooler

The foundations are poured and the walls are going up! The crew are carefully installing the rebar and block for a solid structure that will last decades.

As a reminder, this project is an industrial cold cooler for our commercial client to store produce. Once finished, their company will be able to handle more product with a greater capacity to store and keep items fresh.

Project complete!

For months now, our team has worked on a total home renovation of a 1970’s era house in the city of San Diego.

We added square footage, replaced the roof, redesigned the kitchen and bathrooms, opened up walls to create a spacious comfortable home for our wonderful clients.

Slab poured!

The crews were hard at work last week pouring concrete for the foundation of this new custom home build in Fallbrook.

Scott shows us the boom pump and concrete crews as they work to get the site ready for framing.

New custom home project in progress.
The Youngren team has been hard at work on this custom home build in Fallbrook. We're setting things up for a foundation pour today and start rough framing at the end of the week.

While work continues, the client is busy selecting all of the finish materials, lights, fixtures, flooring, tile, and so much more. Working closely with our choice vendors, they are able to put together the true home of their dreams.

Bathroom showoff! Our client wanted to remodel two of their bathrooms: one for the master suite, one for guests. Here is their simple, elegant, and modern guest bathroom.

The beautiful wood cabinetry complements the neutral tile on the floor and walk in shower. Storage was top of mind for the client, so we made sure to include lots of cabinets. The shower is both beautiful and safe, with a grab bar installed inside.

This new bathroom provided a much-needed update to their home, both in looks and function. They are so happy with the results, and look forward to enjoying this new space for years to come.

Another HFOT home!

The Youngren team is proud to begin work on another beautiful Homes For Our Troops home here in Fallbrook, our 41st build for their organization.

These specially adapted, custom homes are such special projects. With each one, we pour special attention to detail throughout every phase, knowing these are truly forever homes. Working closely with the HFOT team, we follow their specifications for over 40 special adaptations to make these houses fully ADA accessible for the Veterans who receive them.

Each HFOT Veteran recipient chooses where to live, and we're always here to build for those who choose to call Southern California home. Even once the home is complete, Youngren Construction is here to help if the Veterans need any additional work or service to their property.

Thank you to Homes For Our Troops for your continued services to the Veterans and their families who have given so much.

Our team will continue working hard on the Wakeling family home, and we will share more updates along the way.

Hear from Tammy what working with our team was like.

As you saw in our last video, the Youngren Construction team worked with Tammy and her family to remodel their home’s bathroom to be fully ADA accessible for her disabled daughter.

Tammy says: “The best part of working with Youngren is you just know their name in this town and you know their quality of work. That was never a question in my mind from the very beginning. I knew that was who we wanted, and that it was going to be done right. So it just gives you peace of mind.”

Knowing that working with us gave this family peace of mind from start to finish means the world to our team. After more than 30 years of building and renovating in Fallbrook and throughout Southern California, that reputation is something we have worked very hard to create and maintain.

Happy client, happy us.

Hear from our client Tammy, who came to Youngren Construction to remodel their home’s bathroom to be fully ADA accessible for her disabled daughter.

Before the remodel, the family and caregivers struggled with slippery tile floors, unwieldy shower heads, and confined space that made using the shower both uncomfortable and hazardous.

After visiting their home and talking in depth about their daughter’s needs, our estimation and drafting team was able to enlarge the bathroom space and install a beautiful roll in shower. Now the shower has a slip-proof floor, grab bars, multiple removable shower nozzles, and plenty of space.

In Tammy’s words: “Having this new ADA roll in shower bathroom has been an incredible thing for the whole family and my daughter’s caregivers and nurses. It’s really been a huge benefit to her care and to the family.”

Community Kickoff time!

On Saturday we welcomed SPC Seth Wakeling and his family to the Fallbrook community. The family has selected our town for their new Homes For Our Troops home, which is currently being built by Youngren Construction.

Together, we enjoyed delicious food, shared stories and laughter, and experienced a heartfelt ceremony.

Seth would like to thank HFOT donors and supporters for making a difference in injured Veterans lives. “Not being able to properly recover at home is a big hindrance to life outside the home. Without all of the donations from people like you to people and families like me, the world would be a darker place.”

Coming up:
-Volunteer Day to help landscape the completed home
-Key Ceremony to officially welcome the family to their fully wheelchair accessible house.
