The acorns and leaves are falling at Oak Grove Lutheran School. We took these photos a few weeks ago, just as the leaves began to change color. We love the view of Oak Grove’s middle and high school, especially with the fall colors around it.

A new chapter for public health and environmental protection in North Dakota!

Yesterday, we celebrated the ribbon-cutting of the new North Dakota State Laboratory in Bismarck! Designed to serve communities across North Dakota, the facility provides a modern, high-performing environment that supports the important work of state agencies and their staff. Thoughtful design elements create a welcoming and engaging experience, with a dedicated tour route offering visitors a glimpse into the science taking place within. For those working in the laboratory every day, visual connections between spaces, views of the surrounding environment, and abundant natural light create a more open and connected workplace.

Congratulations to the ND Health and Human Services and the entire project team on this significant milestone!

Congratulations to all runners at the 2026 Fargo Mini Marathon!

Our sister company, Gehrtz Construction Services, and we are proud to be part of this year's race and support the Mark Knutson Shoes for Kids Legacy Fund.

From sponsoring the race bags to volunteering and having some of our own team members running, we are excited to be a part of race weekend while supporting a cause that makes a difference in our community.

There was a lot of gratitude and excitement at the ribbon-cutting this past weekend at St. Mary of the Lake in Plymouth marking the completion of their Adoration Chapel and bathroom renovation.

The celebration of the new bathrooms began with a ribbon-cutting and a ceremonial FIRST FLUSH!

After Mass, the ribbons were cut for each of the new confessionals and the Adoration Chapel. The community was able to test out the new sitting area and tour the facilities.

We are so grateful to be a part of this project and witness the revitalization that is happening with this renovation!

Last week’s AIA North Dakota brought together architects and design professionals to share ideas, celebrate achievements, and recognize the impact of architecture across our region.

Our team was proud to take part in the week’s events. Project architect Brett led a tour of the newly opened NDSU Richard Offerdahl ’65 Engineering Complex, while our principal Tony and Leah from BWBR shared the design behind Sugihara during a project tour.

We also celebrated an exciting milestone for associate architect Cooper, who was recognized as a newly registered architect! Congratulations, Cooper!

Beyond the week's events, our architect Larry contributed an article titled "Quiet Architecture: Designing Refuge in the Information Age". The article explores how thoughtful, restrained design can create spaces of clarity and calm in an increasingly information-filled world. Celebrating a new chapter for the next generation of engineers at North Dakota State University!

Our principals, Brian and Tyler, along with project architect Brett, joined the McGough team to serve lunch to students and staff in honor of the grand opening of the Richard Offerdahl ’65 Engineering Complex.

This was a wonderful opportunity to connect and celebrate this significant milestone for NDSU. Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing this vision to life!

Hope Lutheran’s West Campus is one step closer to becoming a space where people can gather, connect, and grow together.

With the 100-foot glulam beams now on site and concrete slab pours underway, the vision behind the project is becoming more tangible each day. It’s exciting to see the spaces designed to serve Hope Lutheran’s congregation and community begin to take shape.
