*REMINDER* this week is getting warmer and spring snow melt is here! Now is the time to test your sump pump to make sure it is working properly and install your exterior discharge hoses.
If you DID NOT remove your hose before freeze up or left it on all winter there is a good possibility you burnt out your sump switch and you will need a new pump. Checking to make sure pumps are working this week and hoses are on is VERY important and can save you from basement flooding!

TAX STATEMENT INFO!!!

If you have never owed a home before it may shock 😳you when this time of year you receive your tax statement in the mail saying you owe thousands of dollars. If you have a mortgage on your home this is NOT A BILL 🥳👍. Part of your monthly house payment includes money for taxes which your bank keeps in an escrow account and then they directly pay this bill 💵
Also when you closed on your home, the bank collected the amount owed from the seller for the part of the year they owned the home and uses that money as well!
The statement is just for informational purposes for you. If you look in the bottom right hand corner, it says this but unfortunately it’s in very small print and not easily seen 😁
