Learning quality craftsmanship is one of the key fundamentals to our program.

The trainees have been getting practice applying mud and taping the sheet rock in our mock bathroom build. Next is putting on the correct bathroom partitions, then demo! A full-scale mini project!

Continuing to get a variety of well-versed training!

This week we had RDO equipment come and show us the Total Station; new technology that helps makes life in the construction industry more efficient.

We have continued to set up forms, shoring & got some equipment practice in!

Thank you to B&B Manufacturing and Assembly for hosting us and showing us the process of Manufacturing!

The trainees got to go through every department and see a product from start to finish!

Thank you to Jerrod Yeager from Advanced Shoring for coming down and working with us on our mock footing, and showing how to properly install the right material.

We also have been working on our mock bathroom build, the model is what a standard commercial bathroom would have.

Another busy and productive week!

Thanks to Cemstone for teaching concrete 101! Giving the trainees background information on how concrete pours should go, and how to do it correctly.

We also went over equipment training basics! Learning basic maintenance for equipment, when and what to check, and getting some opportunities to operate.

We have been busy doing safety training and the start of pouring some concrete!

Thanks Faribault Fire Department Fire Chief Dustin Dienst for spending some time today going over confined spaces, lock out / tag out, blood-borne pathogens, trench safety, fire extinguisher training and more!

Week 1 at the Training Center is off to a great start!🎉

Our trainees kicked things off with a jobsite visit, introduction to tool safety, and hands-on practice getting comfortable with the tools they’ll be using in their future career. They also built their own saw horses and picnic tables! 🛠️

We’re excited to see their skills, confidence, and teamwork grow over the course of the program! 🧰🦺

Year 2 has started❗️

This year we are starting our orientation week with basic tool safety and the building of saw horses the trainees will use throughout the program! We have a great group this year! 🛠️🧰
