That’s exactly why we use Matterport 3D scanning in our workflow with builders.

Before insulation and drywall go in, we capture a full 3D scan of the entire property.

This creates a permanent visual record of everything inside the walls — from AV wiring and electrical to
plumbing, HVAC, and more.

For builders and trade partners, it becomes an incredibly valuable reference later in the project.

If something gets covered up or a homeowner decides to add technology after the fact, we can go back to the scan and locate wiring or boxes precisely without unnecessary holes or
guesswork.
It’s a simple step during construction that saves time, protects the build, and gives everyone
involved a clearer picture of what’s behind the walls.
