Added a license plate reader camera today, mounted to the existing 4x4 signpost, along with a PTZ camera on the pole for full coverage of the parking lot and entrance. Better visibility, added security, and peace of mind from every angle.

Another 200 amp service upgrade in the books ⚡️

This old service was completely rusted out, still running on old aluminum rope service with a maxed-out Pushmatic panel that didn’t have the room or capacity for the new kitchen renovation.

We upgraded everything and brought the home up to current NEC requirements with a new meter-main service setup. This includes a clean 200 amp meter-main combination, giving proper disconnect at the meter and improved safety compliance for today’s code standards.

We also cut in new siding blocks into the exterior siding for the service equipment, ensuring a tight, weatherproof seal to prevent any water intrusion while keeping a perfectly clean, finished look on the exterior.

Inside, we installed a 42-circuit Leviton panel with plenty of room for the renovation and future electrical upgrades.

Out with the outdated. In with a safer, cleaner, code-compliant setup built for today’s electrical demands. ⚡️🔧

Another 200 amp meter main service upgrade in the books ⚡️

This one also included relocating the electrical panel out of a closet. NEC 110.26 requires proper working space and clearances around electrical equipment, and panels cannot be installed where that required working space is compromised.

We installed a new code-compliant 200 amp meter main service and relocated the panel to a proper accessible location.

PSEG will also be coming back to install a mid-span tap, allowing the homeowner to finally eliminate the old rotting wood post currently supporting the service.

Cleaning up old problems, correcting violations, and leaving every service safer than we found it. ⚡️

We started what was supposed to be a small basement renovation, but once we opened the electrical panel to tie in the new circuits, we found a much bigger problem.

The panel wasn’t actually a true 200 amp service. There was no properly rated main breaker, the bus was back-fed, and the panel was full of rust and corrosion. Once we went outside to inspect the service, things only got worse.

At that point, there was only one safe solution. We removed the unsafe equipment and installed a brand-new code-compliant 200 amp meter main service, as required by current code, with proper grounding and protection. The homeowners now have a safe, reliable electrical system they can count on for years to come.

A house fire severely damaged this home’s electrical service. The fire department contacted PSEG to shut the power down at the pole so the property could be made safe.

We responded quickly and installed a brand-new meter-main service to meet current electrical code. We also added the required water ground, which had been completely missed by the previous electrician.

Our team worked fast and efficiently to get the homeowners powered back up and running safely.

Another emergency call this morning for smoke coming from an electrical panel.

The A/C company performed their own electrical work and installed the wrong breaker. The breaker overheated, burned up, and damaged the panel bus. We will now be returning to complete a full panel replacement.

Always make sure anyone performing work in your home is properly licensed for the work they are doing. Electrical mistakes may not cause a problem today or tomorrow, but over time they can lead to equipment damage, electrical fires, or something much worse.
