Most people don’t think about an electrician until something stops working or becomes a safety concern.
My name is Jay Myers, and I own Midwest Electric. My wife, Savannah, and I moved to the Farmington area four years ago and built our business from the ground up in a community where we were completely new. Earning trust didn’t happen overnight, and that experience shaped how we approach our work and how we treat every customer.
Midwest Electric provides residential and commercial electrical services, including breaker panel and service upgrades, new construction wiring, service calls, and ongoing maintenance. We take pride in honest pricing, quality workmanship, reliability, and clear communication.
Outside of work, you’ll find us enjoying the outdoors, riding our side-by-side, spending time on the golf course, or at home with our dogs, Roo and Stella. We’re also expecting our first child this April, which has made everything we do feel even more meaningful.
One of the jobs I won’t forget was helping a customer whose woods caught fire and spread to his home. He was already going through a difficult season, and we were able to respond the same day and get his electrical issues resolved. Seeing the relief on his face confirmed why this work matters so much.
Our commitment is simple: treat every home and business with respect and leave it better than we found it. We want our customers to feel confident knowing they have a local electrician they can trust when they need us.
