We are so excited to welcome five brand-new students to the KBE Internship Program this summer! Our interns spend 12 weeks working directly with our teams, rotating between our Farmington office and local jobsites. Along the way, they gain valuable hands-on experience and a deeper understanding of what it means to work in the construction industry. We are thrilled to spend the next three months providing them with the tools and support they need to succeed before heading back to school in the fall.

Teamwork really does make the dream work 💪🏗️

Since breaking ground on Binghamton University's newest residence hall last fall, our team has been hard at work building through sunny skies, rainy weather, and plenty of upstate New York snow.

We're incredibly grateful to everyone on site whose dedication has kept this project moving forward. Now that we're going vertical, we're excited to take advantage of the summer months and make even more progress while students enjoy their break ☀️!

Last month, our team had the opportunity to attend the official ribbon-cutting ceremony for the 1928 Building right here in Farmington, CT!

KBE proudly served as the General Contractor for the addition and renovation of this historic landmark, which once housed the town’s high school. Today, the beautifully restored building serves as Farmington’s Town Hall, bringing all municipal services together under one roof.

We’re so grateful for the kind words shared by the 1928 Building Committee and proud to have played a role in preserving such an important piece of the town’s history. Congratulations to the Town of Farmington on this exciting milestone!!

Last night was a home run! Our crew had a great time watching the Hartford Yard Goats take home another victory against the Reading Fightin Phils. Great weather and amazing company made it an unforgettable night ⚾

We’re excited to announce that the UConn’s Connecticut Hall has earned First Place in the Mega Projects category at the ABC 2025 Excellence in Construction Awards!

KBE proudly served as the Design-Builder and Constructor for this residence hall and dining facility on UConn’s South Campus. The 280,000 SF, seven-story building features 657 beds, a 500-seat dining hall, game rooms, seminar rooms, and multipurpose spaces. Achieving LEED Gold certification, the project supports UConn’s sustainability goals and includes outdoor areas designed for recreation and relaxation.
