Some weekend work.

On Saturday we did 20 water taps and hooked up 20 services. The most taps and services I have ever done in one day. Earlier in the week we installed a fire hydrant and a post indicator valve. Plus we finished couple of jobs also took care of a few service calls. It was a crazy week.

Saturday we installed a new water service into a local home.

Friday we got back to installing some 8inch water mains. We got a long way to go to finish this project. We have 36 water services to install 3 fire hydrants plus fire sprinkler. We also have got to install the electrical infrastructure.

We started this week putting in a 8in. water main in. We knocked a thrust block loose and it got fun.
We installed a new 8 in valve so we could stop the flow. Then we installed a 6 in valve so City of Festus can install a new fire hydrant. It’s a lot of hard work so hats off to the men and women in the public works that deal with this daily.
