This is why you always call 811 before you dig.
We located utilities, excavated around a failing catch basin, and tracked down a damaged drainage pipe causing the issue. Once exposed, we replaced the broken section and restored proper flow.
No shortcuts. Fixed the right way — from the ground up.

If you’re seeing sinkholes, standing water, or drainage problems, don’t ignore it. It only gets worse.

From Marks on the Ground to a Job Done Right ✅

Last week we shared a reminder to always call 811 before you dig — here’s exactly why that matters.

➡️ BEFORE:
Utilities were located and marked, allowing us to safely identify the issue areas around the catch basin and drainage line.

➡️ DURING:
We excavated around the catch basin to make necessary repairs, then continued digging to expose a damaged section of pipe. Once uncovered, we replaced the failed portion with new piping to restore proper flow and prevent future issues.

➡️ AFTER:
Everything was backfilled, graded, and restored — leaving the area clean, stable, and functioning exactly how it should.

Proper planning + safe digging = long-term solutions.

If you’re dealing with drainage issues, sinkholes, or failing storm systems, give us a call. We’ll get it handled the right way from the ground up.

Before you break ground, make the call that protects everything beneath it. 📞

Calling 811 before you dig isn’t just a step in the process, it’s the foundation of doing the job right. Hidden utilities are everywhere, and one missed mark can lead to costly repairs, project delays, or even serious safety risks.

Preparation is what separates a smooth project from a stressful one. Taking a few extra minutes to plan ahead ensures your crew stays safe, your timeline stays intact, and your work stays on track.

Dig smart. Stay safe.
Call 811 before you dig.

Safety and first impressions matter, especially at a busy service department.

This dealership had a pothole outside one of their service bays that was holding water and creating a hazard for customers and technicians. Our crew quickly stepped in to remove the damaged asphalt and install a fresh patch to restore the surface.

The result is a smooth, safe entry point for vehicles and foot traffic.

If your parking lot has potholes starting to form, addressing them early can prevent larger failures and more costly repairs down the road.

Proud to play a small part in keeping Greenville moving forward. Quality infrastructure today means a stronger community tomorrow.

City of Greenville, NC - Government

One other point I emphasized at our workshop Monday night was not just prioritizing infrastructure projects—but finishing them.

By now, most people understand that within the City of Greenville we have both state-maintained and locally maintained streets. But at the end of the day, every road runs through our city and impacts our citizens. The responsibility may be shared on paper, but the impact is felt locally.

This fiscal year, we are investing approximately $3.4 million into our local streets. That’s significant progress compared to where we were years ago—but it’s not enough. The cost of replacement has increased dramatically over the past decade, and so has our population. Growth is not slowing down anytime soon, and that means our investment cannot slow down either.

We’ve come a long way over the past 11 years when it comes to infrastructure funding, but we must continue building on that momentum. In this upcoming budget cycle, I’ll be pushing for additional investment in our streets so the next generation isn’t left cleaning up a mess because we chose to cut corners today.

Another commercial property brought back to life — durable, protected, and built to handle daily traffic with confidence.

Our team recently completed a comprehensive pavement maintenance project for Ulta at the Gateway Marketplace in Jacksonville, NC. Scope of work included:

✔ Targeted oil and fuel stain treatment
✔ Thorough crack repair and surface preparation
✔ High-quality sealcoating for long-term protection
✔ Precision striping to restore the existing layout

The before-and-after transformation speaks for itself. What was once a faded, weathered retail surface is now clean, defined, and ready to serve both tenants and customers with a sharp, professional appearance.

If your shopping center, HOA, apartment complex, or commercial property could benefit from:

⭐ Extending the life of your asphalt investment
⭐ Added protection from traffic and the elements
⭐ A refreshed, welcoming exterior

We manage every phase of the project from preparation through final striping — no shortcuts, no loose ends.
