Went to replace a pipe boot this morning. Customer had it tarped off.Surprise it was an old ass pipe vent that they reused after closing up the ceiling below.For a roof vent went and got a roof vent that matched all the other vents on the roof.l always say everydays an adventure. Gotta love it.

Change out 1 pipe boot 2 pieces of ridge cap and 1 shingle tab this morning.

You know what else pi**es off real roofers.You guys that dont do any of the work yourselves.You sell yourself to the customer then you sub out all your work. So the guys you sub out to build your company for you and you take all the credit.But you wont get up on the reroof you sold and get your hands dirty. Us guys that have been roofing for 40 plus years and longer.Built the roofing industry. You guys that sub out everything and reap the Benefits are nothing but sales men.Leave the roofing for the ones that bust their asses out there every day.We have earned the right to be out there because we know how to work. And we do our own work we sell.Home owners like to see the Business owner 100% involved with entire job start to finish.That is a fact.

Sure wish all of you wanna be roofers would learn how to properly repair a home owners house.That is 1of their biggest investments in their lives.And use the correct materials. All of you fly by night guys Your work looks like sh*t..Your Guarantees are only good until the home owner cant see your brake lights any longer.Ya all are nothing but a bunch of cons. Then the poor Home Owner has to pay again to get it done correctly. You idiots make us real roofers sick.Ya all probably dont even know that water runs over the cut not into it.

First who silicones plywood on the inside of the deck to stop a leak? The ridge vent is nailed with inch and a quarter smooth roofing nails.Just a flopping in the breeze.cuts in the roofing shingles and siliconed.pipe boots no nails in them to secure to roof again just flopping in the breeze.Previous owners said everything was fixed.Realtor took their word for it.Now realtor has to pay to fix all this.Good for me.But that teaches you that people lie lie lie.
