This week, there will be something a little different added to our farmstand.

A giant Dandelion.

Every single seed represents one of us. On its own, a seed seems so small. But together, they create something whole, beautiful, and strong.

Sometimes life can convince us we're alone. That noone would notice if we disappeared. But the truth is, every single one of us matters. Every single one of us leaves an imprint on the people around us.

If you're stopping by this weekend, we'd love for you to "take a seed" and invite you to take one and give one if you know someone who may need a reminder. You are never alone. You are loved. You matter. And this community is better because you're in it.

That's what Dandelions do, spread hope from one place to another. Maybe together we can remind someone that they're never walking through life alone. Take a seed. Share a little hope. Sometime the smallest acts of kindness take root in ways we'll never see💛

A month ago, this little farmstand was just a simple project, built from scrap pieces to start an FFA geared adventure with our girls.

Today, we're so excited to see our little name on the 2026 local farmstand map❤️

It's still hard to believe how quickly this little dream has grown. I frequently find the girls coming up with new ideas, sharing with them all the tags when someone is looking for a stand or homebaked goods, and every weekend seeing regular and new faces.

Thank you for making this first month so much more than we ever imagined. Your support, kind words, and encouragment mean the world to our little family. Here's to a Summer full of fresh produce, homemade goodies, and growing something special together. We apperciate you 🫶

☀️It's a beautiful Sunday on The Combstead and Father's Day weekend is on the horizon!

You know the rules. Dad Tax 🍪 and it's unavoidable...

This weekend at The Combstead, we're fighting back and taking preventative measures for you.

✨️Bigger cookies
✨️Extra loaded bags
✨️Plenty left over even after dads "quality control bite"

Because around here? We plan for Dad tax like it's a real expense.

🌾Dad joke of the week: Dad said he's on a diet... so he's eating cookies slowly. Ya know, for portion control.

It's officially grab our Dinner sides from the garden season ☀️

Now I know what you're thinking, you aren't supposed to plant green beans until after the last frost and we got stashes of them already. Well, we just don't listen to those frost rules 😉 These beans specifically made it through 3 frosts. Remember, the only rules in gardening, are the ones you actually listen to. We prefer a little bit of chaos though.

🫛This haul means- Fresh produce is coming to the stand soon!

One thing that's important to us: you'll never find herbicides, pesticides, or w**d sprays in the gardens. We grow the old fashioned way. Plant a little extra for the critters, expect to share with nature, and trust the process. Our philosophy? If the bugs and critters won't eat it...why would we want to?

☀️ Farmstand update

The Farmstand will be closed this weekend.

We'll be spending Saturday at a benefit ride, and with the heat expected, we won't be around to monitor the products throughout the day. As much as we love stocking the stand, we never want to leave out items that may not hold up too long in the Summer heat.
