At age 13, Chase Gipson began painting and renovating houses with his dad and older brother, and spent most of the next 10 summers doing this type of work. He spent a great deal of his early years complaining that it was "too much hard work" and that he had no intention of doing it as an adult. However, during stints in his twenties in NY, Atlanta, Nashville, and elsewhere he always found himself

returning to the trade. After 13 years full-time in the recreation and non-profit world, he agreed to renovate a bathroom for a friend and here we are nine months later with the "official" launch of American South Renovations. Nothing quite compares to the satisfaction of arriving at a home, improving a living space, and creating a happy homeowner.
