We would like to honor and remember the life of our friend and colleague, Doug Blaylock.

Doug was a man of unshakeable faith in Jesus and a respected builder in our community for over 40 years. We had the privilege of working alongside Doug here at Sherrill Builders for two and a half years when he came out of semi-retired life to join us. His knowledge, craftsmanship, leadership, wit, and faith were true assets.

Doug not only shared his expertise, but he also invested in the next generation, mentoring our younger team members.

This is what it’s all about for us—building homes that hold a lifetime of family memories. We loved building the Wheeler family’s home 20 years ago, and it meant so much to work with them again more recently on their pool house, creating space for even more memories with family and friends.
