Three Years. Two Awards. One Commitment.

At Vector Electrical Group, safety isn’t a goal we strive for at the end of the year, it’s a commitment we make every day on every project.

We’re honored to announce that for the third consecutive year, Vector has been recognized by NECA with both the Zero Injury Award and the Safety Excellence Award.

These awards represent far more than plaques on a shelf. They reflect the dedication of every employee who takes the time to plan the work, looking out for one another, and never compromising when it comes to safety.

This recognition belongs to our entire team from our apprentices and field crews to our project managers, office staff, and leadership. Every person at Vector plays a role in building a culture where everyone goes home safely at the end of the day.

Construction is officially underway on the Olympia Transit Center Real-Time Signage Project!

Vector Electrical Group is proud to serve as the General Contractor for Intercity Transit’s latest modernization project, bringing new real-time passenger information displays to the Olympia Transit Center. These upgrades will provide riders with accurate, up-to-the-minute bus arrival information, making public transportation throughout the South Sound more convenient, reliable, and accessible.

This project includes, electrical power and communications infrastructure upgrades, decorative concrete demolition and replacement, structural steel installation and the Installation of new electronic real-time passenger information displays throughout the transit center

While passengers will soon see modern electronic reader boards, there’s a tremendous amount of work happening behind the scenes to build the infrastructure that makes these systems possible. Our crews have hit the ground running over the past week and a half, and it’s exciting to see the transformation already taking shape.

We’re also proud to continue expanding our capabilities as a General Contractor, delivering complex infrastructure projects that improve the communities we live and work in.

At Vector Electrical Group, we’re committed to keeping communities connected and we’re honored to partner with Intercity Transit on another project that will have a lasting impact on the traveling public.

At Vector Electrical Group, safety and training remain at the core of everything we do.

We recently brought our team together to renew key certifications, including fall protection, aerial lifts, forklift safety, and rigging inspection to ensuring everyone is equipped to work safely and effectively.

Our annual Foreman Meeting was also aligned during this time and focused on project alignment, safety expectations, and leadership development. During this meeting, we introduced our first Foreman Safety Award, recognizing Derrick Kuta for his strong commitment to weekly safety meetings, hazard awareness, and proper documentation.

We’re proud to continue investing in our team and building a culture centered on safety and accountability.
