It’s hard to believe, but tomorrow is Sue Wolf’s last day in the office before getting to enjoy the grand adventure of retirement. Sue has been tremendous for this company and has put her heart and soul into working here. We extend unbelievable thanks to her for the decades of efforts and passion that she has put forth for DBM as well as the friendship and the laughs, and will miss having her here on a daily basis. We wish both Sue and Mike all the best!

DBM has begun work for Guy F. Atkinson Construction in Issaquah, WA installing drilled shafts, secant piles and anchored soldier piles. Work will continue into 2028.

The WSDOT project includes the removal of 10 existing fish barriers and their replacement with fish-passable crossings at I-90 Lewis Creek, I-90 West Village Park Creek, I-90 Schneider Creek, I-90 Unnamed Tributaries to Tibbetts Creek, and SR-900 Tibbetts Creek.

We are brokenhearted by the sudden passing of our colleague and brother Ryan Pruitt. If a gentle giant ever existed, one would need not look any farther than Ryan to understand the totality of such soul. Please show your love and respect to each other as you grieve. More importantly please understand that our feelings are far less important than the grief of this wife and kids. The Murphy Family implores you to show them how much we love our Gentle Giant.

As we approach this year's Apple Cup, DBM is proud to announce the recent completion of our project at the University of Washington campus in Seattle - a temporary shoring and deep foundation system to support the UW ICA Basketball Arena expansion. Thanks to Mortenson for their support!

We were awarded by the AGC for maintaining one of the top 14 lowest EMRs in the state. That means years of incident-free, smart work on our job sites. This is no small feat—and it’s only possible because of the culture of safety every one of our employees helps build.

DBM Contractors, Inc. has completed installation of a design-build permanent soil nail wall with shotcrete facing in Florence, OR for the Rhododendron Drive Realignment project. DRS Engineering Inc. provided the design package while the architectural shotcrete facing and gutter was finished by MCDOWELL CONCRETE LLC. DBM installed vertical elements, DCP nails and structural shotcrete while navigating sandy soils and working safely around overhead powerlines. Congratulations to the DBM crew and the entire project team for a job well done.

DBM is honored to have been recognized by Kraemer Brothers for our significant role installing a permanent soil nail wall including the permanent fascia on the APWA 2025 Transportation $5-$25 million Project of the Year Award: Foothills Trail, Phase II, Segment C for King County Parks. Thanks also to Turnstone Construction for their artistry on yet another beautiful shotcrete carve.

DBM Contractors, Inc. recently completed installation of soldier piles with 7’ rock sockets for Burks Excavation for a bridge replacement project in Rockland, Idaho. DBM crews worked through a number of challenges including single digit temperatures, cold weather concreting & associated QC, challenging access and tough drilling conditions. Thanks to the DBM crew and the entire project team for delivering a safe and successful project!
