👷♂️ Last week, Lywood celebrated Safety Week 2026 — but at Lywood, safety isn’t dedicated to one week. It’s our first core value.
Since 1976, Lywood has been built on hard work, strong values, and a commitment to building a culture where safety comes first every single day.
For us, safety goes beyond policies, procedures, and training. It’s about looking out for one another, holding each other accountable, and making sure every employee goes home safely at the end of the day.
Throughout the week, our crews participated in daily safety quizzes, field visits, giveaways, and ongoing conversations focused on awareness, accountability, teamwork, and building a strong safety culture both on and off the job site.
What makes Safety Week meaningful isn’t just the events themselves — it’s the reminder that safety is built through the choices we make every day in the field, in the office, and everywhere in between.
We’re incredibly proud of the engagement across the company and grateful for every employee who participated and helped make Safety Week 2026 a success.
A special thank you to our Safety Manager, Brandon Van Schaik, for all of the work and effort put into organizing and leading this year’s Safety Week activities.
Thank you again to everyone who represented what safety means here at Lywood. 💙
