As some of you already know we have shut down for the next couple weeks. Some current projects are on hold. Though the jobs are at a point where we felt the we could be safely walked away from them. We have many projects on the schedule for the next few months. Scheduling will be figured out when we return to work. I want to thank all our current clients and future clients for their patience. We will return soon better than ever. We are spending the time on home projects and training.

This is a kitchen we just completed. Designed by Laura Andersson, owner of Adobe Design Studio. It was a very complex job involving removing several walls and lots of electrical changes. The results were very satisfying.

For the last couple of years the GFCI outlets installed have shown a high failure rate. Some have been faulty directly out of the box. This outlet was installed only a short time ago and while it indicated it was working properly the load side had failed. Upon removal the terminal was burned and melted. This may be because of manufacturing or installation. No way to be sure either way.

Starting a new hire involves a great deal of obstacles to overcome. Mostly in the lost earnings before the new hire is a viable member of the company. In the case of retail outlets it may take weeks of lost earnings and productivity before you have an employee who is going to stick and several more until they become profitable. In the construction industry this takes months and in some cases years.

The worst thing a home remodeler can experience are an indecisive and bickering couple. Both at the same time. We can’t give you what you want if you don’t know and come to an agreement before the works starts.
