Unlock Greatness in Youth

I am excited to be selected to run the 2020 Boston Marathon on behalf of the incredible charity, Trinity Boston Connects. TB Connects is a community building program that teaches youth through running. TBC teaches how to set and achieve seemingly impossible goals and use the skills to overcome life challenges.

Research confirms that youth stronger in social and emotional skills have increased educational and career success, stronger relationships, better physical and mental health, and more meaningful contributions to society.

Let’s help youth dream big dreams, develop their talent, and achieve their goals!

What a treat to sign my book while passing through the Chicago airport this morning. ✈ Thank you to the friendly folks at Barbara's Bookstore 📚 for your warm welcome.

I remember a couple of years ago being in an airport bookstore (where I am always picking up a new inspirational book to read) and turning to my husband Graham and saying, "One day we will see my book on these shelves!" It was a big dream of mine to accomplish this work, and it is one of the hardest and most rewarding things I have ever done. There were discouraging days when it felt too hard, I faced writer's block, or self doubt that I could finish, or that if I did, would anyone read it?!

My dream happened because I didn't give up. I kept with it, and day by day the manuscript came together. The Success Lie hit book shelves, and is now a best seller, and changing lives around the world. 🌎

What is your dream? And what is holding you back from accomplishing it? I truly believe that if you are willing to do the work - to be disciplined, consistent, and not give up, you can achieve anything you set your mind to.

Letting go can be one of the hardest challenges we face in our lives. We hold on to things that create or evoke a strong emotion and it's not always a positive one.
