Framing is officially underway on this custom country home.
The floor system is going in and the footprint of this home is really starting to come to life. There’s something satisfying about this stage of construction. A few days ago it was foundation walls and dirt piles… now you can walk the layout and finally feel the scale of the home taking shape.
Engineered floor joists are set, the deck prep is moving along, and the crew is pushing hard while the weather’s cooperating. Big progress going on…. Next stop: decking and walls. Stay tuned, because this project is about to rise fast. 🏡

Construction Laborer – Entry Level

We are a well-established general contractor specializing in residential and commercial construction in the Hancock County area, with over 45 years of experience. We are seeking a dependable individual who enjoys working with their hands and takes pride in putting in a solid day’s work.

This full-time position is a great opportunity for someone looking to get started in the construction industry and learn valuable skills on the job with a company that offers steady, long-term work.

No experience required. Construction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities:

Assist with general construction and carpentry tasks including framing, interior work, and exterior finishes
Load and unload materials and tools
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Follow directions from supervisors and crew leaders

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Ability to work outdoors in various conditions
Reliable transportation to and from job sites
Consistent attendance and punctuality

Just wrapped up this beautiful custom home build!

From the clean exterior lines and warm wood accents to the bright, open-concept interior, every detail was thoughtfully designed and carefully executed. Highlights include a spacious kitchen with custom cabinetry and exposed beams, a stunning stone fireplace, and a private primary suite built for comfort and relaxation.

Grateful for the team, subcontractors, and homeowners who made this project come together so smoothly.

Spring finally clocked in and the job site (and us) is loving it. ☀️🌱
Walls are up, roof lines are defined, and every day it’s looking more like a home.
Nothing beats that mix of sunshine, sawdust, and progress after a long winter.
We’re hitting our stride and looking forward to everything coming together in the weeks ahead.

Here's a look at the latest progress on one of our custom homes. The build is coming along nicely, with much of the cabinetry installed and key features taking shape. We can't wait to see everything come together as we head into the final stages of construction. 🔨🏡

Approaching the winter in construction is always a trying time. However, we are happy to say that it’s official: We are "in the dry" 🌧️☀️ on this new custom home!!
Reaching the weather-tight stage is one of the most significant moments in the build process. The roof is on, the sheathing and house wrap are complete, and the windows and exterior doors are installed. This means the structure is protected from the elements, and we can start bringing the interior to life!

Building more than just projects—we're building an incredible team! We were excited to celebrate our hardworking construction crew with a much-deserved luncheon and a bit of a challenge at the axe-throwing range. It was a great opportunity for some team bonding outside of the job site.
