We are saddened to share Tim “Pops” Wilson passed away in his Oxford, MD home on Sunday June 1, 2025.

In the 1970s Tim moved his family of 5 to Carroll County and built his first home using a library book.

This courageous endeavor was the founding step to him starting his own company and pursuing life as a builder. This led to Wilson Homes being founded in 1989 between Tim and Chris prior to Chris taking over sole ownership at a later date.

Now as we enter our third generation with hundreds of homes completed since, it is safe to say we no longer check out library books to complete our homes.

We are blessed to be in the position we are today all because of a courageous man who brought vision to a dream. We hope to proudly carry the Wilson name for many generations to come.
