As always, the finished product started with thorough preparation. We:

✓ Hand scraped and thoroughly spot primed prepared bare areas.

✓ Painted the wood trim, fascia, soffits, gutters and downspouts with two full coats of Sherwin-Williams Duration Exterior Acrylic Latex in Black Magic.

🎨 Another Exterior House Painting Project Completed in Carmel, Indiana

From traditional red brick to a timeless new look!

Our repeat customer Jan in the Plum Creek Farms neighborhood of Carmel, Indiana once again trusted White’s Painting & Power Washing for a complete exterior house painting project. Having painted the exterior trim on her home in the past, she knew she could count on our meticulous preparation, premium Sherwin-Williams products, and experienced craftsmanship.

After thoroughly low-pressure washing the home, we carefully prepared every surface by hand scraping loose paint, spot priming where needed, and sealing all gaps and joints with Sherwin-Williams Finish Max Elastomeric Caulk.

The highlight of this project was transforming the original red brick work into a custom white finish to perfectly complement the brand-new siding on three sides of the home. To ensure exceptional adhesion and long-term durability, the brick work was professionally primed with two full coats of Sherwin-Williams Loxon Masonry Primer, followed by two full coats of Sherwin-Williams Duration Exterior.

We also updated the home’s appearance by painting the wood trim, aluminum gutters, and downspouts in Sherwin-Williams Shiitake, while the outdated lime green shutters were refinished in Sherwin-Williams Rookwood Dark Brown, creating a clean, timeless color palette.
